The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA) was the first humane society to be established in North America and, today, is one of the largest in the world.

An ASPCA partner since 2008, Subaru has donated close to $16.5 million to the ASPCA and helped support nearly 1,100 pet adoption events, resulting in more than 17,000 animals finding loving homes.

ASPCA Rescue Rides

Subaru and the ASPCA have transported thousands of animals from overcrowded shelters to those where they had a better chance of finding their forever home. These transports, which have saved over 12,250 animals to date, were funded using a portion of the ASPCA's Subaru Share the Love Event donation from 2013-2015.

Fourth Annual ASPCA Mega Match-a-Thon Event

In October 2015 the ASPCA and Subaru teamed up for the month-long Subaru Loves Pets initiative, and provided $160,000 in grants in support of the Fourth Annual ASPCA® Mega Match-a-Thon event.

Shelter grantees received funding to host large-scale pet adoption events across the country as part of the month-long Subaru Loves Pets initiative in October 2015. This year's Mega Match-a-Thon event resulted in more than 4,500 lives saved.
